Cynthia has been in the asset and property management industry for more than twenty years. She started her career with a large real estate firm in Los Angeles where she managed the firm's entire portfolio of properties both commercial and residential. With an opportunity to join with a rapidly growing association management firm she quickly became the president and general manager of their San Diego division. She helped to contribute to the firm's continued growth, which then became one of the nation's largest management companies. In addition to presiding over the operations of more than five hundred common interest developments, Cynthia specializes in pre-development consultation with Builders and helps them to form their homeowner associations prior to first close of escrow. She also served as a professional board member for a multitude of builder clientele. During her career, Cynthia has helped to establish and operate over 1,000 common interest developments ranging in size from as little as 35 units to more than 10,000 units. Cynthia was one of the first one hundred common interest development managers in the state to become a Certified Community Association Manager through CACM. Cynthia has also served on the Board of Directors of CACM from 1995-1997. Cynthia holds these additional designations; Advanced Specialty Certificates from CACM for High Rise and Large Scale, Nevada Supervisor CAM license, AMS, CMCA and PCAM candidate.
Gloria has over twenty years’ experience in the community association management industry. She has been working for The Prescott Companies for the last ten years. She is currently the Vice President for the San Diego North County Coastal Division and Inland Empire Division. Gloria has a full range of management experience which includes everything from condo conversions to large master communities. She specializes in handling developing accounts from inception through build out. Gloria’s professional attitude and total commitment to the highest level customer service mirrors the reputation of the Prescott Companies. Gloria’s knowledge, proactive approach to management and ability to connect with homeowners has proven invaluable. She is a Certified Community Manager, (CCAM) and affiliated with California Association Institute.
Melodie Nickell is the Vice President/General Manager of the successful Urban Development Division of The Prescott Companies located in Downtown San Diego. She has over 25 years of management experience and has been with the company for over 6 years.
As Vice President/General Manager of the Urban Development Division of the Prescott Companies, Melodies’ personal touch approach with trade partners, board members and employees has given Prescott’s communities the highest level of customer service. Melodies’ Urban Development Division Management portfolio is comprised of 28 properties consisting of 3,443 doors which include luxury high rise, mid-rise and planned unit developments. As well as overseeing these 28 properties, she also supervises 40 associates which are made up of on-site managers, portfolio community managers, on-site building engineers and front desk concierge staff. Melodie takes pride in working closely with her employees during any pre-construction and defect projects to ensure the communities’ expectations are met. Melodies’ portfolio consists of various unique properties such as The Legend, which is the only Homeowners Association in the U.S. inside a Major League Ballpark. The historic Villa Riviera High-rise Condominiums feature an interesting architectural ambiance from the early part of the 20th century. One of the most noteworthy features of the building is a slanted Copper roof accompanied by decorative gargoyle statues. The Metropolitan is a condo/master association encompassed as part of the luxurious Omni hotel. This has been deemed a favorite destination for visiting teams to Petco Park because of its private entrance into the park.
Prior to beginning her career with the Prescott Companies, Melodie was a Division Manager at Hallmark for over 5 years and a manager at the Home Depot for over 13 years. Melodie is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in Work Force Education. She has received her designation from the California Association of Community Management (CACM), including her High Rise Certification and has maintained her California Community Association Management (CCAM) certification since 2007. Melodie is also a member of the California Associations Institute (CAI) and is currently working to further her education and knowledge in the industry.
Tamee has over twenty years of Community Association Management experience. Prior to joining The Prescott Companies, Tammy was in charge of a mid-sized management firm. Tammy's knowledge, proactive approach to management and ability to connect with homeowners has proven invaluable in helping struggling associations overcome obstacles such as deferred maintenance, underfunded reserves, litigation and those normal every day issues that Board's struggle in making decisions. Tammy came to The Prescott Companies two years ago after attending several continuing education classes that were taught by Prescott staff, at our corporate office. After attending the classes, and seeing the company culture, Tammy realized that The Prescott Companies was the place for her.
Susan Green began her common interest development management career on the west coast in 1997 and served as Vice President at The Prescott Companies from 1998-2000. She and her husband then relocated to the east bay area of Northern California where she held several executive level positions within the industry including Director of Association Services at Centex Homes as well as General Manager for a newly constructed high rise property in San Francisco, CA consisting of 655 mixed use units.
Prior to 1997, Susan’s career spanned 10 years of community management with major firms on the east coast where she was born and educated. Susan returned to The Prescott Companies in February 2011 by accepting the position of Northern California Division Manager. She brings her 20+ years of experience in the field of public and private community management to her new position. She will utilize her recognized management expertise, innovative strategies along with marketing and business development skills to create new business opportunities for The Prescott Companies in No. CA. Susan’s professional attitude and total commitment to the highest customer service possible mirrors the reputation that Prescott Management Co. has developed in the CID industry in So. California and Nevada. She has been a Certified Community Manager, (CCAM) since 1999 and has been affiliated with California Association Institute (CAI), Executive Council of Homeowners (ECHO) and Home Builders Association of No. CA (HBAC).
Linda has spent more than 17 years in the field of community association management. She began her career in New York with one of the largest management firms on Long Island where she managed HOAs, condominiums and cooperatives; she spent over six years as its Director of Property Management. Upon her husband’s retirement in 2002, she moved to Las Vegas and became the Director of Community Association Services for a large management company. Linda joined the Prescott Team in 2004 after serving on a Board for a community managed by Prescott. She found that Prescott’s innovative approach to community association management closely matched her style. As our Las Vegas Division Manager she has helped her staff enhance the level of service at our Las Vegas single family home developments, hi-rise properties and condominium conversions. Linda is certified by the State of Nevada as a Supervisory CM. This designation enables her to supervise, train and ensure that managers seeking their Nevada State certifications are qualified.
